Introduction
The company adheres to and complies with the "Know Your Customer" (KYC) principles aimed at preventing financial crimes and money laundering by identifying customers and conducting comprehensive checks.
The company reserves the right to request any KYC documents it deems necessary to verify the identity and location of the user on yourloot.io ("Website") at any time. We reserve the right to restrict access to the service, process payments, or withdraw funds until the user's identity is sufficiently established, or for any other reason at our discretion based on applicable legal norms.
The company has the right not to disclose the reasons for account blocking if it is related to the KYC procedure.
We use a risk-based approach and conduct strict due diligence checks, as well as ongoing monitoring of all clients, users, and transactions. In accordance with anti-money laundering regulations, we apply three levels of verification depending on the risk, type of transaction, and client:
- SDD — Simplified Due Diligence is applied for extremely low-risk transactions that do not meet established threshold values.
- CDD — Customer Due Diligence is applied for the majority of clients.
- EDD — Enhanced Due Diligence is applied for high-risk clients, large transactions, or special cases.
Separately and in addition to the above: if a user reaches a total deposit amount exceeding 5000 EUR over time, requests a withdrawal of any amount on the site, or conducts or attempts to conduct a transaction deemed suspicious, they are required to undergo the full KYC procedure.
During this procedure, the user must provide basic personal information and then upload:
- a copy of a government-issued photo ID (in some cases — both sides of the document);
- a selfie with this ID;
- a bank statement or utility bill/receipt.
The KYC/AML verification period is up to 30 calendar days.
